Making a positive contribution to our communities

FORVIA is a member of the community in each region where we operate worldwide. We want to strengthen our commitment to local communities by initiating or contributing to projects and programs that address local needs, and by offering expertise and resources in support of such efforts. Our societal engagement approach is based on local economic development, and local solidarity actions as initiated by employees through the FORVIA Corporate Foundation.

The FORVIA Corporate Foundation

In 2020, as part of FORVIA’s Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, we launched the FORVIA Foundation to support innovative and forward-looking initiatives focused on three themes: education, mobility and the environment.

The FORVIA Foundation aims to help build a fairer, more mobile and more environment-friendly society to ensure that we preserve the planet for future generations. Every year, FORVIA employees are invited to submit projects with a social impact and in need of time or financial resources. The projects can be managed by our employees themselves or in partnership with non-profit organizations.

Partnerships to protect the oceans

Oceans, which cover 70% of the Earth’s surface, are the planet’s main reservoir of biodiversity. According to the latest IPCC report, preserving and restoring them is a key factor in the fight against climate change. Through partnerships with the Maud Fontenoy Foundation and Plastic Odyssey, two renowned organizations dedicated to protecting marine biodiversity, the FORVIA Foundation will encourage the education of young people in the protection of marine biodiversity, a better understanding of the challenges of plastic pollution in the oceans, and ultimately the development of industrial applications that are more respectful of the environment.

Our projects around the world
