A graduate of École Polytechnique and École des Mines de Paris, Sébastien brings a strong leadership track record built since joining FORVIA in 2014. Over the past decade, he has held several senior roles, including Program Manager within the Interior Systems Business Group and Vice President in charge of Sales, Programs, and Strategy for the Clean Mobility Business Group. Since July 2025, he has served as Executive Vice President for Clean Mobility.

In his new role, Sébastien will lead the global Seating Business Group with a clear focus on operational excellence, product leadership, and customer satisfaction. He will report directly to Martin Fischer, FORVIA Chief Executive Officer, who commented:

His proven ability to drive innovation and strengthen operational performance makes him ideally positioned to elevate our Seating activities. I am confident that under his leadership, we will enhance our competitiveness, capture new growth opportunities, and create lasting value. I would also like to thank Stéphane for his commitment and leadership since joining the Group, as well as for ensuring a smooth transition in the weeks ahead”.

As part of this transition, Ghita Slaoui, currently Finance Vice President for Faurecia Clean Mobility, will become Acting Executive Vice President of Clean Mobility as of February 16, until a successor is appointed. She will also report directly to Martin Fischer.
